Benefits of a La Marzocco Coffee Machine vs Other Brands
So why choose a La Marzocco machine? There are so many other brands who specialise in espresso machines. Firstly, you can’t beat their build quality. La Marzocco possess a real pedigree and these machines have been handmade and tested for decades. This image brings one of the powerful benefits. La Marzocco machines carry this impressive reputation and ultimately the impact this has on your customers’ perception of your coffee.
In our training room at the roastery we use the Linea Classic, where all our espresso are tested too before being released. We love the linear design and clean lines and it is really easy to get custom painted!
The double boiler provides unparalleled temperature and pressure stability for continuous espresso brewing and continuous steam production. The PID controller allows you to easily control the espresso brewing temperature. This and small touches like the stainless steel portafilters and the precision baskets help to improve your cup quality and consistency.
The keypad with digital shot timer is really useful to monitor the extraction time. The tall legs also allow you to have extra room underneath the machine (you can fit take away cups and milk jugs.) All these technologies mentioned above allow real accuracy when brewing your coffee.
The machines also use stainless steel parts in place of the poorer quality copper parts chosen by other manufacturers. Steel holds heat much more effectively and is much stronger. So it is not only longer-lasting and at low risk of degradation or wear; but is also very easy to maintain. It holds onto nothing that is left in its system, keeping your espresso coffee taint-free consistently.
They also have unmatched local support, and they take customer service very seriously. They want the best for you and your experience of their machines and brand. So if anything goes wrong with your machine you know great support is in close by.

How to Get a La Marzocco Coffee Machine For Your Coffee Shop
We supply La Marzocco machines as part of a coffee partnership with the businesses we work with: installation, training and ongoing support included, alongside the beans that go through the machine. If you’re setting up or switching your equipment, get in touch and we’ll talk through the whole package: the right machine for your volume, finance options, and a coffee supply that fits your menu.
To keep things accessible, we offer three straightforward ways to get started:
- Buy outright – a long-term solution for established businesses
- Finance – spread the cost with manageable monthly payments (available to limited companies)
- Rental – from a 12-month minimum term, ideal if you’d rather have servicing built into a fixed monthly cost
We also supply Modbar
As an official La Marzocco partner, we’re also able to supply Modbar, the under-counter espresso system engineered by the same team behind La Marzocco, using the same boiler technology, portafilters, and temperature stability as the Linea PB and Strada EP.
Modbar tucks the machine itself away beneath the counter, with just the taps and controls visible above it, a popular choice for cafés that want a clean, minimal bar without compromising on what’s actually brewing your coffee. Available in Espresso AV (auto-volumetric) and EP (electronic paddle) configurations, alongside matching Steam and Pour-Over modules.
Get in touch if you’d like to talk through whether Modbar or a traditional La Marzocco setup fits your space better, we’re happy to help you weigh it up either way.

We can also be on site quickly if anything needs attention, rather than routing you through a national call centre.

La Marzocco machines — FAQs
Do I have to buy my coffee from you?
No, but you’ll get more benefits if you would. We generally supply La Marzocco machines to businesses who buy their coffee through us. It’s how we’re able to offer the ongoing maintenance and support below, and it means we can tailor training and service around beans we know inside out.
Which La Marzocco model is right for my business?
It depends on your covers per day and workflow rather than budget alone — get in touch and we’ll talk through your site and volumes rather than sell you more machine than you need.
Do you install and train my team?
Yes — installation includes plumbing in and water treatment setup, and we dial in your espresso with our beans once we’re your coffee supplier. Barista training is part of our ongoing support to help you get the best from our coffee, from recommended cup sizes and recipes to the right workflow for consistent results.
Can I lease or finance a La Marzocco?
Finance is available for limited companies. We also offer rental, with a minimum 12-month term. We’re happy to talk through which option — buy, finance or rental — suits your business.
Do you offer rental?
Yes, with a minimum term of 12 months. It’s a good fit if you’d rather have servicing and breakdown cover built into a fixed monthly cost.
What warranty comes with the machine?
Every machine comes with a 12-month parts warranty, plus one free call-out for labour within that first year.
What happens after the first 12 months?
As long as we’re your main coffee supplier, your machine is covered by our ongoing maintenance and support package. See below for what’s included.
What's included in your maintenance and support?
For customers in Greater London, once we’re your main coffee supplier:
- Free annual visit — we check the machine over, replacing the brew head seals and shower plates free of charge, and swapping the water filter cartridge (you only pay for the cartridge itself).
- Free servicing with every visit — includes a grinder check and an espresso taste optimisation.
- Free barista training — that can be booked every 6 months.
- Repairs — internal call-outs are free (excluding spare parts). Spare grinders are available so you’re not left without one during a swap. For major issues, a certified engineer might have to be called (charges apply).
Part of our support is to prevent the common espresso machine issues to take place in the first place, by performing a good staff training that covers general troubleshooting, everyday maintenance, and cleaning.
Outside Greater London, we can still supply and install your machine, but ongoing servicing and training would be arranged through a local engineer or trainer at their cost, rather than included as standard.
Is there a contract?
No. We don’t tie you into a fixed-term coffee contract — we’d rather earn your business every order by being good to work with. The maintenance and support package applies for as long as we’re your main coffee supplier.
Do you supply outside London?
Yes, we supply La Marzocco machines UK-wide, including installation and ongoing coffee supply. Our free annual maintenance visit and barista training are available to customers in Greater London, where we can visit in person. Outside this area, servicing is arranged through a local third-party engineer, chargeable at their rates.
